Geosapiens : from the research lab to the market

Geosapiens founders have worked for more than 5 years in the development of a flood risk management solution in the context of R&D projects conducted within the Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique (INRS) and in partnership with the government and the insurance industry. The outcome of these projects led to the creation of an innovative flood model that met the needs of a various public and private stakeholders involved in the management of this natural hazard. This achievement was an important milestone that encouraged Geosapiens team to make the leap from research to business.
