Fan Zhang is joining Geosapiens as a climate scientist and we are glad to welcome her among our organization.
Fan has graduated from University of Saskatchewan in 2020, with a Ph.D. in numerical modeling. Her research interests include numerical modeling, ice jam flooding, and hydraulics. Her Ph.D. research is about flood risk modeling in the Slave River, Canada. During her experience, Fan used different climate scenarios to assess ice jam flooding risk. Besides numerical modeling, Fan has also resorted to GIS and remote sensing research methods to map flooding.
Fan will work closely with our research & development team, and we are certain she has a lot of knowledge to share with us. Her skills are an important asset for our company success.
