Job description
Geosapiens is looking for a remote sensing specialist to work on the development of flood modeling tools based on remote sensing data.

Main tasks and responsibilities
- Remote sensing data collection, structuring and preprocessing
- Develop processing and analysis tools using optical and radar satellite imagery
- Automation and optimization of the remote sensing data processing workflow
- Contribution to the design and development of our solutions (SaaS, API)
- Participation in the coordination of current and future projects
Qualifications
- Master or PhD Degree in GIS/Remote Sensing or equivalent
- At least 2 years of professional experience in remote sensing data processing projects
- Experience in radar image processing
- Experience with Python, R
- Good skills in GIS
- Autonomy, flexibility and ability to learn quickly
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to integrate into a team
- Interest in the fields of environment and natural hazard modeling
- Experience in flood risk modeling projects (a plus)
- Experience with Esri software (ArcGIS Pro, Online, Enterprise) (a plus)
